Peter Söderblom

Mr. Söderblom has been working in the safety and reliability field since 1988. Before joining exida.com he has been working mainly with ABB at several different locations in Europe. Most of this time, he has been working within the entire chain of SCADA systems for the oil and gas sector with tasks ranging from development to customer projects to sales to project management to product management. Since 1998 he has been focusing on project management within SCADA systems, Network Information Systems and Safety System development with project sizes ranging from 5-300 persons. He was the program manager for ABB's development program to develop their 800xA safety system. During this complex program he also managed to focus the distributed organisation on the FSM requirements in 61508 ending in a TÜV FSM process certificate for the development departments.

In 2005 he joined exida.com where he has been focusing on functional safety management development process. He works as a coach for the Functional Safety Manager and the Project Manager in projects in order to adjust their existing development process to the requirements in IEC-61508 and IEC-26262. Since 2007 he is mainly working as development process assessor for IEC-61508 and ISO-26262.
