From several successfully completed safety designs, you know the ISO 26262 safety standard quite well, but you excel especially at finding practical engineering solutions in semiconductor design projects. No matter whether high-speed IP cores or an analog/mixed-signal hard macro, sensor ICs, microcontroller or multi-billion transistor SoC for ADAS and autonomous driving systems – with your rich background and ability to apply past experience in a new context, you are ready to join challenging new projects to guide and support our customers to make their products safe, secure and successful.
However, you do not see functional safety and cyber-security in isolation, but rather in the context of the overall product development, and you are comfortable contributing to project discussions beyond functional safety, with the goal to find the best overall solution for your customer’s safety design challenges.
You will work with our worldwide customers in Germany, Europe, America and Asia, from innovative startup companies to industry leading heavy weights. Regular traveling for trainings, workshops and other on-site customer meetings will be part of your job, which is perfect, since you love working with different project teams in diverse environments and seeing new places. Your professional English is fluent and eloquent, and your open and engaging personality makes it easy for you to connect with customers in a one-on-one technical discussion, or to moderate large teams and meetings with confidence. Similarly, when authoring technical documents in English, you are able to specify and describe complex systems and issues in a clear, structured and precise manner, that it is a pleasure for the reader to review.
