Dipl.-Ing. Sylvio Nolte is a Principal Functional Safety Engineer at exida. He works mainly as a consultant and supports the exida customers in interpretation, application, and implementation of the Functional Safety standards like IEC 61508, ISO 26262 and other. This consist of the definition and adaption of the necessary processes and methods for the Functional Safety Management, Requirements Engineering, System and Software Architecture and Design, Analysis and Testing as well as the development of System and Software Safety Concepts.
Besides this Mr. Nolte has also experience with Cybersecurity acc. to IEC 62443 and the upcoming Automotive standard ISO 21434.
His customer projects cover a wide range from only source code development, e.g., software for semiconductors, sensor systems development like Radar, Lidar or GNSS, Automation Transmitters and Automotive Systems like Steering Systems, Gear Boxes or Driver Assistance Functions. Because of this wide range of experience, he can relate his trainings directly to the practical application of the Functional Safety and Cybersecurity standards and enrich the training with lots of practical examples.
He did develop several trainings himself covering safe and secure software and system development, active analysis of systems and software, software architecture and design as well as software implementation.
